Steel grating, also known as steel grid or grating plate, is a metal product made by welding flat steel and horizontal bars (twisted square steel, flat steel, round steel) through medium frequency pressure welding machine. It is wrapped, polished, acid washed, and hot-dip galvanized. It is also called pressure welded steel grating and has the characteristics of ventilation, transparency, safety, anti slip, and superior anti-corrosion performance. Widely used in metallurgy, energy, petroleum, chemical industry, ports, docks, shipbuilding, airport terminals, scenic spots and other places.
According to the type of material, it can be divided into hot-dip galvanized steel grating (carbon steel) and stainless steel grating (S304 S316 2205 bi-directional stainless steel, etc.)
According to the corresponding scenarios, it can be divided into lightweight steel grating and heavy-duty steel grating. For example, the maintenance track of airport terminals and high-speed railway stations is made of lightweight steel grating, while docks, piers, and highway drainage systems usually have heavy loads and are mostly made of heavy-duty steel grating.
According to the manufacturing process, it can be divided into pressure welded steel grating and pressure locked steel grating. Currently, the mainstream product in the market is pressure welded steel grating.
